Suffolk CNC has new owners!

The company will continue to operate under new management from a large workshop in Martlesham, Suffolk.

The new owners are Ascenda Engineering (www.ascendaengineering.co.uk).

Ascenda Engineering is very well established and experienced in metal CNC profile cutting. They have multiple CNC machines including, a state-of-the-art water jet CNC machine.

These boat parts were nested and cut from 6mm mrmdf by our state-of-the-art CNC machine.

Our state-of-the-art CNC machine has been doing what it does best, cutting multiple components to exacting specifications. On this occasion, we're cutting mahogany, but our machine cuts all timber, plastics and composite materials.

We've had lots of interesting projects to get our heads around this week. This customer required multiple triangular components cut from 95mm sipo. Accuracy was key, but with a CNC machine, this is no problem.

The components were machined in two parts due to the thickness of the timber. Our programmer carefully cut a mirror image on the backside of the sipo and the results were perfect!

A busy start to the week, getting 300 carpet display stands out to a customer. We have cut thousands of these on our state-of-the-art CNC machine. Some panels have required edgebanding others are left with raw edges all ready for assembly before they are delivered to the end-user.

Machine Operator

Suffolk CNC is looking for a machine operative to join the team. Day-to-day the job will vary depending on the project we are working on. You could be moving large sheets on and off our state of the art CNC machine, edging panels on our edgebander, palletising an order or helping with the maintenance of the machine and generally tidying the workshop. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who has great attention to detail and who isn't phased when working to deadlines.

Suffolk CNC is a young and fast-growing business based near Framlingham in Suffolk. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic business that offers development opportunities for its team to grow in line with the business and its expanding market.

Great to see these recently installed wardrobes that were cut on our state-of-the-art CNC machine for our customer. It's nice to see the finished project in place.

We love the simple lines of these 18mm birch-faced ply handleless wardrobes. The customer has decided to keep these natural at the moment. In years to come, they may paint them to change the look.

They say storage is key in a property and this young lady has enough space here for her to grow into.
