Covid-19 Risk Assessment (11th May 2020)
Apollo Gas will resume operations from the 11th May 2020, where contractors are allowed into marinas and yards.
We are happy to operate, however we will impose certain conditions to protect our staff, clients and other contractors as well as avoiding spreading the virus.
Conditions :-
1. We will only work on a vessel, where we can be assured we will be alone on board. If the vessel is a “liveaboard”, we will not attend unless the call is an emergency.
2. If keys are not on board we will comply with local marina/yard practices in respect to obtaining keys so as to ensure that social distancing requirements are not compromised.
3. We will clean and sanitise hands before we start each job and when we have finished.
4. We will travel from our home addresses to our place of work without compromising whichever social distancing rules are currently required by the government’s Covid-19 restrictions.
5. If there is a subsequent requirement from the UK government relating to face masks we will comply with that requirement.
6. All stock will be sourced, where possible, remotely (mail order).
7. If any of our clients are not happy with these arrangements, we are happy to compile a list of those clients, so that they can be prioritised when restrictions are lifted in a way to ease the conditions listed above.
8. Every client of Apollo Gas, where an appointment is made from this date, will receive a copy of this Risk Assessment from our Office Manager.
