There’s something really rewarding about receiving feedback like this after months of working closely with a client.

For the past 6 months, I’ve been supporting a very busy Chief Revenue Officer with inbox and diary management — helping bring structure to the chaos, keeping communication flowing, and making sure nothing important slips through the cracks.

Often, the role of a Virtual Assistant isn’t just about managing tasks. It’s about becoming a trusted support system. Being proactive, calm under pressure, organised, and one step ahead can make such a difference to someone juggling a demanding role.

This testimonial genuinely means a lot because reliability and professionalism are at the heart of how I work.

If your inbox feels overwhelming, your diary is running you instead of the other way round, or you simply need dependable support behind the scenes, I’d love to chat.

Sometimes having the right support can completely change your working day.

Signs you might be ready for a virtual assistant:

* your inbox gives you anxiety
* you’ve flagged emails you still haven’t answered
* you keep saying “I’ll post tomorrow”
* your to-do list has become decorative
* you’re double booking yourself
* you’ve got ideas but no time to implement them
* you spend more time organising work than doing work
* you’re replying to clients while making dinner

And the big one: You’re constantly busy but never feel caught up.

Most business owners wait too long before getting support because they think they should be able to manage it all.

You probably can manage it all.

But that doesn’t mean you should have to.

I’ve been supporting businesses all over the UK for over 9 years.

If you’d like to book in for a chat, drop me a message.

Last weekend I swapped my laptop for theatre tickets.

One of my clients Faith Walsh, invited me to watch their latest show and I was blown away by the talent, energy and sheer hard work that went into it.

Faith runs a very successful dance theatre company and to watch all the students, some as young as 4 years old, was just wonderful.

Being a Virtual Assistant means I often get a behind the scenes view of incredible businesses, but seeing the magic come to life was really special.

I’m already looking forward to the next one!

Thank you for inviting me Faith 🩷

Think hiring an employee is the cheaper option? Think again!

On paper:
Employee = £15/hour
Virtual Assistant = £35/hour

Most business owners stop there.

But when you add:
✔ Employer NI
✔ Pension contributions
✔ Holiday pay
✔ Sick pay
✔ HR support
✔ Software licences
✔ Equipment costs
✔ Training / onboarding

the numbers tell a very different story.

Annual cost comparison:

Employee = £39,063
VA support = £25,200

Difference: £13,863

And with a VA?

You only pay for productive hours.
No overheads.
No payroll headaches.
No desk space needed.
No hidden costs.

Just experienced support when you need it.

Would outsourcing make more sense for your business?

(these costs are the absolute minimum, there would probably be more).

Ever feel like you’re spinning all the plates but not actually moving anything forward?

Your inbox is full.
Your to-do list is never-ending.
And those bigger goals? They keep getting pushed to “next week”.

This is where having a Virtual Assistant in your life changes everything.

It’s not just about someone “doing tasks”.
It’s about having someone who keeps you on track and gently holds you accountable.

✔️ Following up on the things you said you’d do
✔️ Keeping your diary aligned with your priorities
✔️ Nudging you when you’re drifting off course
✔️ Creating space so you can actually focus on growth

Because let’s be honest when you’re running a business, it’s easy to get lost in the day-to-day and lose sight of the bigger picture.

A good VA doesn’t just support your business — they support you.

And sometimes, that’s exactly what you need to move forward with clarity and confidence.

If you had someone keeping you organised and accountable what would you finally get done?

Today I’m celebrating International Women’s Day.

Here’s to the women building businesses at kitchen tables.

The women leading teams.

The women holding it all together behind the scenes.

And yes, the women quietly running other people’s businesses too.

As a virtual assistant, I see the reality.

The late-night decision making.
The school-run strategy calls.
The confidence wobbles before launching something new.
The guilt when work wins.
The guilt when family wins.

So many brilliant women are carrying more than anyone realises.

This year, I’m celebrating the women who delegate.

Not because they “can’t do it all”, but because they’ve decided they shouldn’t have to.

Outsourcing isn’t weakness.
It’s leadership.
It’s growth.
It’s backing yourself enough to say, “my time matters.”

To every woman building something — whether it’s a business, a career, a family, or all three, I see you.

And if I get to support even a small part of that journey, it’s a privilege.

Photo of me and my boys, who I’ve raised, alone, for the last 17 years.

Happy International Women’s Day.

Right now, for many businesses, employing someone full-time just isn’t as straightforward as it used to be.

Salaries are rising.
Employer NI has increased.
Pensions, holidays, sick pay, equipment, training… it all adds up.

For a lot of business owners, the pressure isn’t a lack of work — it’s the cost of keeping on top of everything.

That’s where a Virtual Assistant can make a real difference.

✔️ No employment overheads
✔️ No long-term commitment
✔️ Flexible hours that scale up or down
✔️ Support exactly where you need it — admin, inboxes, systems, projects, social, finance support and more

You get experienced, proactive support without the financial strain of another salary.

Less stress.
More breathing space.
More time to focus on the parts of your business that actually need you.

Sometimes calm isn’t about doing less — it’s about having the right support behind the scenes.

If you’ve been quietly wondering “there must be a better way”… this might be it.

Drop me a DM if you’d like a chat.

Finishing the week on a real high and feeling genuinely proud of this one.

Last October, I was brought in to support a senior leader at a large sporting organisation with inbox and diary management. What was meant to be short-term support was extended… and then extended again.

The organisation made the decision to recruit an in-house Executive Assistant and I knew my support would then stop at the end of March.

Instead, the Chief Revenue Officer I support made it clear that they wanted to continue working with me indefinitely. The CEO will use the services of the in-house Executive Assistant.

Hearing “I’m happy with the support and I want to stay with you” is the kind of feedback that really means something.

For me, this is a reminder that:

Proactive support builds real trust
Flexibility matters at senior level
Long-term relationships are far more powerful than short-term fixes

Grateful, proud and heading into the weekend with a big smile.

Oh and It's also my birthday on Sunday too so a double celebration 🎉

Xero Catch-Up Package – £400

If opening Xero fills you with dread, you’re not alone and it doesn’t have to stay that way.

I’m offering a one-off Xero Catch-Up Package for business owners who’ve fallen behind, are avoiding it, or just want everything brought back up to date.

✨ £400 | Up to 10 hours’ support

What I’ll do:
Catch up overdue bank reconciliations

Review transactions and tidy up obvious issues

Get everything organised and accountant-ready

Flag anything that needs attention (before it becomes a bigger problem)

Perfect if:

You’re behind and unsure where to start
VAT or year end is looming
Xero feels stressful instead of supportive

This is a short-term, one-off catch-up — not ongoing bookkeeping — and I have limited availability.

If having it calmly sorted would take a weight off your mind, drop me an email.

Sometimes the biggest indicator of success isn't a flashy metric or a launch announcement.

It's this …

A client who originally planned to work with me for one month and is still here months later because the support is making a real difference.

What that tells me:

* Things are running more smoothly
* Pressure has been lifted
* They feel supported, not overwhelmed
* Trust has been built

That's always the goal - to quietly make life easier behind the scenes so business owners can focus on what they do best, knowing someone reliable has their back.

I’m grateful for clients who value long-term relationships and the impact consistent and reliable support brings.
