🌿 Meet Owen and discover Physio on The Farm! 🐑💪

We're excited to be working in partnership with Owen at Physio on The Farm to develop a brand-new programme of strength and mobility sessions for older people across Worcester, Droitwich, Malvern and the surrounding communities.

Set within the beautiful surroundings of Abberley Care Farm, these sessions will focus on teaching safe, functional strength and mobility through meaningful activities on the farm. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of movement in a unique outdoor setting, alongside the therapeutic benefits of spending time with the farm animals and connecting with nature.

Designed to support health, wellbeing, confidence and independence, these sessions will be suitable for older people looking to stay active, improve their mobility, and enjoy social connection in a welcoming environment.

Companionship care is about so much more than staying at home.

For many of the people we support, it's about continuing to enjoy the places they love, maintaining hobbies and interests, and having somebody by their side to make those outings possible.

This week, one of our Care Professionals enjoyed a trip to St Peters Garden Centre Centre with a client. From browsing the plants and garden displays to stopping for a coffee and a chat, it was a wonderful opportunity to get out, enjoy the fresh air, and spend time doing something meaningful together.

We're delighted to welcome Physio on the Farm at Abberley Care Farm as the newest Community Partner of Radfield Home Care Worcester, Droitwich & Malvern.

Together, we're developing accessible strength, balance, and mobility sessions designed to support older people to stay active, maintain independence, and improve their overall wellbeing. By combining our expertise in older people's care with specialist physiotherapy knowledge, we hope to create meaningful opportunities for people living with conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, and other age-related health challenges.

Set within the beautiful surroundings of Abberley Care Farm, these sessions will offer a unique blend of exercise, education, social connection, and the therapeutic benefits of spending time in nature.
