10/10/2026

BACK IN LEWES FOR THE SECOND YEAR RUNNING 🔥🛡️

We’re proud to announce that OPFOR Security Services Ltd will once again be supporting Waterloo Bonfire Society on 5th November 2026 for Lewes Bonfire Night.

After working the event last year, we’re really pleased to be returning for a second year and continuing to support one of Lewes’ biggest and most well-known nights.

This year, our team will be providing a wide range of support across the event, including:

* Security Event Management
* Security Response Teams
* Stewards
* Static Guarding
* Safeguarding & Welfare Teams
* Wider Event Security Support

From a security perspective, OPFOR will also be supporting the management and coordination of the security operation, helping ensure teams are deployed effectively, incidents are responded to quickly, communication remains clear and the overall security plan runs smoothly throughout the night.

Our focus will be on providing a professional and visible presence, supporting crowd safety, assisting members of the public, responding to incidents and helping Waterloo Bonfire Society deliver a safe and successful event.

A huge thank you to Waterloo Bonfire Society for once again putting their trust in OPFOR. We really appreciate the continued working relationship and look forward to another successful night in Lewes.

SOUND FACTORY U18 EVENT – SECURED BY OPFOR 🎶🛡️

What a night at The Sheds, Lewes for the Sound Factory U18 event.

A busy event from start to finish, with a strong turnout, a great atmosphere and plenty for the team to stay on top of throughout the evening.

Our team provided support across the venue including front door operations, internal security, safeguarding and welfare, response support, restricted-area security and safe dispersal at the end of the night.

There were some challenging moments during the event, but the team worked together brilliantly, supported one another and dealt with everything professionally and efficiently.

A huge well done to everyone involved — from the front door team, to response, safeguarding and welfare, and those covering the internal and restricted areas. Everyone played their part and stepped in wherever they were needed.

At the end of the event, the team worked together to clear the venue smoothly and safely, with attendees escorted away from the venue and towards North Street to help ensure a safe dispersal.

A massive thank you as well to Max and the Sound Factory team for having us and for putting their trust in OPFOR. For a young organiser, Max did an incredible job putting the event together and running the night.

We’re proud of the way the whole team represented OPFOR.
