Our fun, new education programme, Careers Navigator, officially 'Ignited' today!
We unveiled Ignite XP! (8-16), Ascend XP! (16-24 and NEET), and Orbit XP! (18+) - our new gamified, inclusive education programme that builds employability skills - to a packed room at AV Dawson The Staiths, Middlesbrough.
A huge thank you to our speakers and panellists Andrea Naylor from the Tees Valley Combined Authority, Jeni Smith, Michael Allan CERT-IOSH, MIIRSM, Vaina Lumbiwa, Winnie Howes and Michael Carruthers for sharing their own experiences with the audience.
Our founder, Dr Kat Carruthers, gave a powerful speech about the need for Careers Navigator and how it can complement mainstream education, the need for real-world work experience to boost the workforce and plug the skills gap, and why inclusivity and accessibility are so important to the team.
Every guest received a copy of our very first edition of The NetWORKer Junior, our fun new magazine for children and young people.
And our special guests also had the opportunity to watch a demo of the programme.
