More control for holiday home owners. Not less. 👀

We spotted this email from Cottages.com this week and it certainly caught our attention.

From 1st September, properties that previously offered ‘Pets Stay Free’ will automatically have a £30 charge per pet applied to new bookings.
Cottages.com say the change comes following feedback from owners, and we completely understand that welcoming dogs can mean additional cleaning and costs.

But surely the individual property owner should be the one deciding whether they want to charge for that?
Some owners want to charge for dogs. Some don't. Some welcome one, others happily welcome several. Every property — and every owner — is different.
For us, that's the bigger conversation here.
Your property. Your choice.

We believe good holiday let management should give owners more choice, more flexibility and more control over how their property is run — not gradually take those decisions away.

Anyone else getting the kids involved in the change overs this summer? Our daughter has been working hard buffing windows and testing the pool table...
If you'd like to spend more time with family next holiday why not get us to take the strain. We could do with some more work for lily to practice, so we can retire 😜

We've been a little quiet on socials recently and for good reason! I've mostly been making beds while trying not to be sick 😅 Jon has been absolutely legendary picking up the slack and keeping all our houses running as normal.
