Darch oil provides home heating oil,gasoil, & White Diesel. We also provide oil fired boilers, we do boiler service & repairs & supply & install tanks.

We are an independent, family run, Oil distribution Company established over 20 years ago in Yeovil Somerset. Our oil distribution network operates from Yeovil, Glastonbury, Portland and Amesbury. We supply Somerset, Dorset, East Devon, South Wiltshire and West Hampshire with quality fuels, heating oil and lubricants at very competitive prices. Our modern fleet of vehicles are electronically contr

olled via our distribution centre in Yeovil. Each of our friendly drivers is fully trained and has extensive knowledge of your local area. Our story began in the 1960’s when the founder, Ron Darch, started to supply local residents with logs, coal and other solid fuel. As local demand grew, so did the business. We expanded our range of services to include liquid fuels and lubricants, and in 1990 Darch Oil was established to provide fuel services to industry as well as private homes and commercial premises. Ron's children and grandchildren have all played an integral part in creating the business that exists today. A number of them still hold active roles within the Company that's still independently owned and run. Fast forward to the present and we now supply residential and business premises across the South West with a range of liquid and solid fuel products. What exactly do we offer:-

Domestic heating oil, agricultural fuel and diesel at competitive prices. Boiler and aga/rayburn servicing. In house fully qualified engineers. Tank installations
We supply and install Atlas oil storage tanks at highly competitive prices. All of our technicians are fully OTEC registered and approved. We have a large range of storage tanks to suit all budgets. Tanks installed in private and commercial premises. Lubricants
We deliver quality Morris lubricants to commercial and agricultural customers at highly competitive prices. We sell AdBlue fuel additive for commercial and agricultural vehicle engines. Oil sight gauge. We can advise you on which level gauge your tank requires, just give us a call for free and helpful advice. Accurately measure your fuel level. The simple summary

What? The Government are releasing an Alternative Fuel payment to heating oil customers of £200 as central heating households receive the Energy Price Guarantee.

Where? The payment will be made automatically as a credit to households electricity bills. Some heating oil customers may need to apply for the payment if they do not receive it automatically.

When? The £200 Alternative Fuel Payment is going to be made across England, Scotland and Wales this month.

Why? If you do not receive the payment automatically for example, this may be due to having both central heating as well as oil heating or not having a contract with an electricity supplier. The Government are setting up a portal for households to apply for the payment and it is expected the portal will be ready by the end of February.

We will continue to monitor the situation and update you with more information as it is released on the Governments Alternative Fuels Payments.

We're conscious that everyone is feeling the squeeze at the moment, so we wanted to provide you with an update on the government's Alternative Fuel Payment, which has been put in place to support you with the increase in the price of home heating oil.

On 17th November 2022, Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt announced that the Alternative Fuel Payment would be doubled to £200.

This means that heating oil households will now receive £200 of support towards their heating oil.

How to claim your support payment
You don't need to do anything to claim your payment as it will be applied as a credit on the electricity bills of eligible households.

A government minister has confirmed that the support payment will be made some time in the New Year, so our advice is that you don't delay placing an order for your heating oil. Call us on 01935 473302
