New laws are now in place which target the electronic devices thieves use to steal motorhomes !

The Crime and Policing Act 2026 makes it an offence to own, import, make or sell electronic devices used in vehicle theft, including relay attack tools and key emulation devices.

Under the new 2026 act anyone possessing or selling these vehicle hacking devices will face a maximum penalty of five years’ imprisonment and an unlimited fine.

We really welcome this news but only time will tell if this actually makes any difference.

⚠️ Increase in Motorhome Thefts – Please Stay Vigilant 👀

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve seen a rise in motorhomes being stolen in Oxfordshire. These thefts have mainly occurred overnight.

If you own a motorhome, please ensure it is properly secured. We strongly recommend considering additional security measures such as:

-Wheel clamps
-Steering wheel locks 🔐
-Tracking devices

If you notice any suspicious behaviour around motorhomes or see motorhomes parked in unusual locations, please report it to us immediately 📲

One of our customers who did not arm the system last night has woke up this morning to his motorhome missing !

Luckily for him we have engaged the Lockdown security system and it is being recovered as we speak.

Lockdown is being tested to the max as we speak ! More to follow soon !

Croydon / Bromley.

Update ! The motorome was stolen with the system disarmed as the customer was packing it, fortunately the customer was quick and contacted us and within ten minutes the vehicle was shut down and Lockdown was engaged. The thieves continued to try and overcome the system with every trick in the book, unfortunately for them we controled the vehicle shutting it down on a single track country lane, blocking traffic both ways. They then ripped out the system and launched it into the field adjacent to the vehicle, this just made it worse for them as now they will never start it. The customer is now with her pride and joy and very relieved.
