🍇 It’s the little moments that make harvest special at Dunesforde Vineyard… ☀️🍇

Yesterday was one of those perfect autumn days – not a cloud in the sky, a peaceful vineyard, and a wonderful group of volunteers helping us bring in this year’s grapes.

Armed with their secateurs and gardening gloves (all provided, of course!), our volunteers got to work carefully harvesting the grapes, filling crate after crate with fruit that has been meticulously tested to ensure the sugar and acidity levels are just right. 🍇✂️

And of course, harvest days are about more than just grapes! There were lunch bags to enjoy, plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits to keep everyone fuelled, and, at the end of it all, time to slow down, share a chat and enjoy the simple pleasure of a day spent together outdoors.

It’s these little moments, the fresh air, the laughter, the teamwork and the conversations along the way, that make our volunteer harvest days so special. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We couldn’t do it without you!

✨ FROM LE GAVROCHE TO MASTERCHEF… NOW DAN GRAHAM IS COMING TO DUNESFORDE ✨

Some chefs cook great food. Some chefs have a story behind every plate.

Dan Graham is one of them.

With more than 20 years in professional kitchens, Dan’s career has taken him from some of the finest kitchens in the UK and Europe to the legendary Le Gavroche, where working under Michel Roux Jr. he says he was transformed from a good chef into a great one.

Then came MasterChef: The Professionals.

In 2009, Dan made it all the way to the final three, finishing as runner-up in what he describes as a life-changing experience that opened many doors.

Since then, Dan has gone on to become a familiar name on the Yorkshire food scene, running his own private chef and event catering business, At the Dinner Party, and championing the incredible local produce and producers around North Yorkshire.

And now, we're incredibly excited to welcome Dan to Dunesforde for one very special evening.

On Friday 6 November, Dan will bring his experience, creativity and passion for food to the vineyard, creating an exclusive four-course dining experience, with each course carefully paired with Dunesforde w**es.

The countdown is on! We’ve only got two weekends left to enjoy the Dunesforde Vineyard Bar & Terrace before we close for the winter on the 10th October until Easter.

So, if you’ve been meaning to visit, now is the perfect time!

🍇 Harvest Update – Monday 7th September 🍇

Unfortunately, the weather had other ideas for our first harvest and yesterday's unexpected rainfall meant we had to postpone picking.

We're now hoping to get our 2026 harvest underway this Monday, 7th September, starting at 8am.

Whether you've registered your interest in volunteering for harvest, or just happen to be available to join us on Monday, please complete the lunch form below. Filling in the form will also confirm your attendance for the day.
