Another productive week at Harrogate College, supporting GRK Civils on behalf of Caddick Construction Limited. 💪

A strong week on site, with all deadlines met and key works successfully completed, including:

✅ Manholes adjusted to specification and set to the correct finished levels.
✅ Kerbing completed.
✅ Ducting works completed.
✅ Site fully prepared and ready for tarmacking first thing Monday morning.

Quality workmanship, strong teamwork and deadlines delivered.

A great effort from the entire team as we continue to make excellent progress and drive the project towards completion.

Lots more edgings going in at Queensbury this week, with one of our gangs pushing towards completion while assisting GRK Civils on a Kier Construction site.

Another one completed for GRK Civils Civils on a BAM UK & Ireland site in Huddersfield. This job was completed from start to finish by the team, starting with the excavation and getting everything down to the correct levels, ACO drainage installed, base prepared to the right depth for concrete, and over 300 square meters of 450mm paving laid to our high standards.

Another section of Harrogate college successfully delivered for GRK Civils 🚧

Great progress on site with the team completing the works to a high standard, including
🔹Gas & Water mains installed to correct depths
🔹 Ducts installed ready for armoured cable to be pulled
🔹sanded up and warning tape to correct specification
🔹 Reduced levels to the required depths
🔹 Installed pin kerbs to the correct heights
🔹 Stoned up to the specified depth and standard
🔹 Thoroughly compacted using a roller to achieve a solid, well-prepared finish for tarmac

From preparation through to final compaction, every stage has been completed with a strong focus on accuracy, quality and specification.

Proud of the progress and the hard work from the boys. On to the next stage! 👷‍♂️🏗️

Update on how one of our gangs are progressing at Queensbury for GRK Civils on a Kier Construction Site.

Edgings are in and stoning up is being completed to specification, ready for tarmac. Great progress by the team! 👷‍♂️🚧

Gangs are busy in Leeds installing a fully permeable block paved parking bays. Professional installation, durable finish, and designed for effective drainage. The boys keep on delivering 👏

Update up at Huddersfield OCH for GRK Civils on BAM UK & Ireland site. One of our gangs have done a great job transforming the bottom of site with over 400sqm of paving.

- Tactiles installed at the bottom of the steps & core drill ready for bollard.

- edgings installed and all cut in to a great standard

- cleaned off and flow pointed leaving a great finish.

The finishing & minor details are what separate good work to outstanding work & this cutting in from one of our gangs up at Huddersfield OCH around lamp posts & recess lids is outstanding finished to the highest standards.

Very greatful & pleased to be working alongside & helping GRK Civils in their projects helping us expand as a company. Long may it continue.

3 gangs left up at the site now finishing off a project which will look nothing short of spectacular once complete.

OCH Huddersfield for GRK Civils on BAM UK & Ireland site.
- Paving extended coming out of bike store at the bottom of site.
- Paving all cleaned off and flow pointed leaving a great finish.
- Recessed man hole lids set to height ready for the setts.
- Fibre exposed and dropped to the correct depths
- Trench bedding and warning tape installed.
- Stoned up and rolled to the correct heights ready for concrete.
