📖Raylor Centre History📖
“After the Fire” is a beautiful original watercolour painting by the well known York Artist, Alan Stuttle RA. It depicts York Minster after the devastating fire of 1984. A large amount of scaffolding on the Minster is clearly visible in this famous angle of the landmark. The Raylor Centre, then titled “H B Raylor and Company Limited”, was proudly asked to have supplied and erected this scaffolding. If you look very carefully, you will see the yellow Raylor Company sign near the centre bottom.
