This feedback came from a recent one-to-one with one of our Care Companions.

For us, one-to-ones are an opportunity to check in, listen, offer support, celebrate achievements and ensure our team knows they are valued, supported and never alone in the work they do.

At Bronte House, making a difference isn’t just about the care we provide to our clients - it’s about the way we care for one another as a team too. That’s at the heart of our culture of care ❤️

We believe that great care starts with great people. That’s why we’ve worked hard to build a supportive, compassionate environment where everyone feels valued, respected and part of something meaningful. Our team celebrates successes together, supports one another through challenges, and shares a genuine passion for helping others live well.

Every day, our Care Companions make a positive impact on the lives of clients and their families, helping people remain independent, connected and comfortable in their own homes, whilst living fulfilled and meaningful lives 🌸

We’re incredibly proud of the team we’ve built and grateful for the kindness, dedication and heart they bring to their roles every single day. Every member of our team is a superstar in their own right 🌟

If you’re looking for a rewarding career where you can genuinely make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re still reflecting on what a truly special afternoon our “Because Every Life Matters - Right to the End”End-of-Life Care training event was earlier this month ❤️

It was incredibly moving to bring together carers, providers and professionals from across our community to learn, connect and share experiences around such an important area of care.

A huge thank you to for their warmth, expertise and partnership in helping deliver such a meaningful session, to Sarah Fiori - Head of Adult Social Care Nursing (HNY ICB) / Principal Nurse (NYC) for sharing a wider health and social care perspective, and to for hosting us in such a beautiful setting and creating such a warm and welcoming environment, with such wonderful hospitality from all your team as always.

A particularly heartfelt thank you to one of our client’s daughters, Molly, who so kindly and courageously shared her family’s perspective at such an emotional time. Her words touched everyone in the room and were a powerful reminder of the lasting impact kindness, compassion and person-centred end-of-life care can have on both individuals and families.

Molly also shared details of her wonderful new venture creating beautiful artwork from flowers from meaningful occasions and memories including funerals. We absolutely love our “Bluebells of Bronte House” (in the frame!) and the special story behind them ❤️

We were also honoured to welcome the Lord Mayor .rowley.16 and Sheriff’s Consort, David Smith and are so grateful to them for giving their time to join us and speak in recognition of the vital work carers do every day within our community.

Finally, thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a meaningful afternoon. It was a powerful reminder that when we work together, learn from one another and support each other, we can collectively enhance the quality of end-of-life care for the individuals and families we support.

Better together. Stronger together. ❤️

✨ Meet the Team: Donna ✨

We're growing and are delighted to have Donna part of our team! With over 40 years of nursing and healthcare leadership experience, Donna brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and insight - playing a key role in enhancing both our clients’ and team’s experience.

Donna is deeply passionate about supporting individuals to maintain their dignity and independence, while promoting quality of life at home. Her collaborative and person-centred approach ensures that every individual’s voice is heard, with their values, preferences, and beliefs always respected.

Her focus on wellbeing, safety, and autonomy sits at the heart of everything she does. Alongside this, Donna’s calm, compassionate, and empathetic nature extends into her leadership, where she supports our team to feel confident, valued, and well supported in their roles.

Outside of work, Donna enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren and family. She loves relaxing caravan holidays around the UK, baking, catching up with friends over coffee, and watching Formula 1 (having grown up in Brackley and spent time working at Silverstone in her early years).

We’re so proud to have Donna as part of the Bronte House team!✨

Kindness, compassion, and connection are at the heart of everything we do. We’re so proud of our team who show this every day not only to those we care for, but to their families as well. It’s so lovely to receive feedback that reflects our approach ❤️

At Bronte House, our care is about experiences and moments of kindness that make people feel truly seen and valued ❤️

When one of our lovely clients wasn’t well enough to join A Brew with Bronte, we made sure the experience came to them — delivering a scone package to enjoy at home instead. 🫖🍓💫

Because to us, the little things are the big things.

We’ve chosen food suppliers for The Bronte Club that support our community and who align with our values. A heartfelt thank you to the following for providing the delicious food which makes these moments extra special:

🧑‍🍳👨‍🍳 for the delicious scones
🍓 for the jam
🧈 for the butter

We so enjoy them as part of A Brew with Bronte
