Information on the up coming Carriacou Regatta 2015.
The Carriacou Regatta Committee in Conjunction with Tyrrel Bay Sailing Club Presents:
CARRIACOU YACHT REGATTA 2015
Thursday 30th July – ‘TREASURES OF THE BILGE’ Charity Auction in aid of the CARRIACOU CHILDRENS EDUCATION FUND at AFTER OURS (Arawak Divers). Doors open at 15.00h and auction commences at 16.00h.
Skippers meeting at the LAMBI QUEEN at 18.00h for Race Registration and course discussion. Two classes, one for rated and one for non-rated boats. Entry fee EC$100.00 (1 race), EC$150 (3 races).
Friday 31st July – Race 1. DOYLE SAILS two handed Round Carriacou Race. Start at 08.00h in Tyrrel Bay, finish Tyrrel Bay. Children up to 12 yrs old may sail and don’t count as crew. Results at The Lazy Turtle Pizzaria.
Saturday 1st August – Race 2. TABASCO CUP for fully crewed yachts. Start at 10.00h in Hillsborough, finish Tyrrel Bay. Sponsored by Carriacou Businesses. Results by the Old Rum Shop/Gallery Café/Twilight Restaurant.
Sunday 2nd August – Lay day for Yachts to enable people to see the exclusive Carriacou Sloop racing in Hillsborough Bay.
Monday 3rd August – Race 3. BUDGET MARINE Race. Start in Hillsborough at 10.00, finish in Tyrrel Bay. Presentations at the SLIPWAY RESTAURANT at 17.30h.
