Customers in La Pastora, Corinth, Red Gate, Westerhall, La Calome, Calivigny, Fort Jeudy and surrounding communities in the parish of St. David are advised that the current interruption in their water supply is due to critically low water levels at the Laura storage tank.
An assessment of the system this morning, Wednesday, October 14, 2026, revealed significantly depleted storage levels, with a possible ruptured water main suspected to be contributing to the situation.
NAWASA's technical team is undertaking the necessary investigations to determine the exact cause and identify the corrective measures required.
At this time, an estimated restoration timeline cannot be provided, as the resumption of supply will depend on the outcome of the assessment, completion of any necessary repairs and sufficient recharging of the system.
Affected customers are encouraged to manage their stored water supply carefully until service is restored.
Customers are also reminded that following the reopening of the network, water supply may return gradually as the system recharges, with those in elevated areas and at the extremities of the distribution network potentially experiencing extended delays.
