Netball Grenada forced to Postpone Closing of its National Tournament.

Poor weather and surface conditions halted the start of the first pass in Game 1 of this year’s final match-up in the Classique Lighting Caribbean National Netball Tournament and organizers ‘Netball Grenada was forced to postpone the remaining games to the following weekend.

The final two matches between Sprangs QPR and FUNCITY in the A division and Topstrikers and Jetsetters in the Male division have now been postponed to Saturday June 6th 2026 at the Tanteen Netball Facility in St George.

Netball Grenada apologies for any inconvenience caused however urged supporters to take the opportunity to encourage everyone to come out to its closing on the new scheduled date on Saturday.

NETBALL – Weather Update

After careful consideration a decision was made to continue as planned with the closing ceremony of the 2026 Classique Lighting Caribbean National Netball Tournament today Saturday May 30th at the Tanteen Netball facility.

However because of the delay the start time of the shooting competition which was carded for 4pm will be pushed back slightly to 5pm to accommodate persons participating in the shoot out competition.

The final match stand off in the A division will follow promptly after the shootout competition.

Officials of Netball Grenada Although unable to predict weather conditions apologies for any inconvenience caused due to the delay of play.
