🌎 INTERNATIONAL CREDIT UNION DAY 2026 🌎
Credit unions across Grenada and around the world will join together on Thursday, October 15, 2026, to celebrate the 78th anniversary of International Credit Union (ICU) Day®, honoring the strength, stability and community impact of cooperative finance.

The 2026 theme “Cooperative Finance: A Steady Signal in a Noisy World,” reflects the challenges of an era marked by information overload, rapid economic shifts and growing financial uncertainty. While the broader financial landscape can feel crowded and confusing, credit unions continue to offer clarity, trust and people centered service—values that have defined the movement since 1948.

Local celebrations will be held at the National Cricket Stadium, St. George, on Thursday, October 15, beginning with a march at 1:00pm from the exit of the former Andall’s Supermarket. There will be live entertainment along with food, drinks and other attractions.

Celebrations in Carriacou are scheduled to take place at the Hillsborough Tennis Court on Thursday, October 29, with a parade from the Hillsborough Community Centre at 2:00pm.
Members can also win fantastic prizes during the GrenadaCreditUnions Trivia Fridays on the page of the Grenada Co-operative League Ltd.
