According to the latest updates from multiple international media sources, the United States has temporarily suspended the processing of immigrant visa applications for citizens of 75 countries.

📌 Important Notes
• The suspension applies only to long-term immigrant visas (permanent residency / immigrant visas).
• It does NOT apply to non-immigrant visas such as:
• Tourist visas
• Business visas
• Student visas
• The stated purpose of this measure is to review and strengthen visa adjudication procedures, while limiting cases that may potentially become a public charge under U.S. regulations.
✔️ In other words, tourist, student, and business visas are completely unaffected, as this suspension targets immigrant visas only.
