Today, the Grenada Ports Authority joins the global community in observing World Day for Safety and Health at Work under the theme “Ensuring a healthy psychosocial working environment.”

We reaffirm our commitment to fostering a workplace where safety goes beyond physical protection, embracing mental wellbeing, respect, and support for all employees. By promoting open communication, work-life balance, and a culture of care, we build safer, stronger, and more resilient port operations.

Today, we also launch the second phase of our Safety Awareness Initiative at the Shed 3 CARICOM area, alongside a Safety Drive Competition for Truck drivers and Porters.

Together, let us continue to look out for one another and create an environment where everyone can thrive.

We’re excited to announce the launch of Phase Two of our Safety Awareness Initiative, taking place on 28th April 2026.
