o provides executive coaching and training to private and public sector clients. Sophia received her education at UCLA and Johns Hopkins and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is a featured voice on Amazon Alexa, and has been featured in SUCCESS magazine, and interviewed on several radio programs including SiriusXM, WHUR (DC), WRNR (MD). Her husband experienced a medical crisis which sent her family into a world wind of challenges. Sophia found solace through journaling and subsequently created the bestseller the Ease and Flow Journal: a 31-Day Journal to Get Clear, Connected, and Courageous about Life. Sophia's first fiction book Fierce Vulnerability: a Colored Girl’s Truths, Trials, and Triumphs debuted as Amazon’s #1 New Release in the Dramas and Plays by Women category. Her vision is to travel the world speaking and sharing her Leadership, Ownership & Accountability (LOA) program, and continuing to create products and services to help others fully embrace their power with ease and flow.

In a season that has asked a lot of all of us, this moment matters.

What I continue to be proud of is the consistency of our work and our community.

Coaching did not pause in challenging times, and neither did our instructors, mentor coaches, coaching team, or the coaches in these cohorts.

⚾️ There is something powerful about watching people supporting someone who is about to step into a breakthrough moment. It reminds me so much of coaching.

Coaching, as defined by the International Coaching Federation, is a thought provoking and creative partnership that inspires clients to maximize their potential. It is a relationship built on presence, trust, and the deep belief that the client is whole, capable, and ready.

When I am coaching, I am holding the same energy I see in moments like this.

⚾️ People choosing to believe in someone’s capacity

⚾️ People making room for someone to rise into their moment

⚾️ People celebrating growth without taking credit for it

Coaching is not about leading from the front. It is not about telling someone what to do.
