Background
The Special Education Master of Education program does offer the majority of the required courses via distance, and generally they have required Zoom “video conference” sessions with them also. The electives however, depending on what course one is scheduled to take, may be on-campus, online/distance: with or without Zoom depending on the instructor.
The final course (for those who choose to remain in “course route’) for the M.Ed. is our 07.750 Graduate Summative Seminar. It is presently offered twice a year in our program: Winter term (starts in January & finishes here on-campus during 5 days of Manitoba spring break week, where attendance by all students is required for final presentations), and Summer term (starts in April & finishes here on-campus during 5 days in either July or August, as set by the professor. Again, attendance during the 5 days at the end of the term is required by all students).
