❗️14 ივნისს, ევროკავშირი-საქართველოს ბიზნეს საბჭოს (EUGBC) ორგანიზებით, შავი ზღვის პლატფორმის ინიციატივის ფარგლებში, ქ. ბათუმში გაიმართა კონფერენცია სახელწოდებით - „Black Sea Connectivity: Driver for Sustainability, Resilience and Economic Security“. ღონისძიება ჩატარდა The USAID Economic Governance Program -ის მხარდაჭერით.
კონფერენციაზე საუბარი შეეხო ევროკავშირის ეკონომიკური და საინვესტიციო გეგმის საფლაგმანო ინიციატივებს, კერძოდ, ელექტროობისა და ოპტიკურ-ბოჭკოვანი წყალქვეშა კაბელის პროექტსა და შავ ზღვაზე სატრასნპორტო ურთიერთკავშირების გაუმჯობესებას.
კონფერენციის გახნით ნაწილში დელეგატებს სიტყვით მიმართეს მსოფლიო ბანკისა და ევროპის რეკონსტრუქციისა და განვითარების ბანკის რეგიონულმა ხელმძღვანელებმა, აგრეთვე, ევროკავშირი-საქართველოს ბიზნეს საბჭოსა და USAID-ის ეკონომიკური მმართველობის პროგრამის წარმომადგენლებმა რომლებმაც ისაუბრეს მიმდინარე პროექტებსა და სამომავლო გეგმებზე.
ღონისძიების ფარგლებში ასევე გაიმართა B2B ფორუმი სატრნასპორტო და ლოჯისტიკური კომპანიების წარმომადგენელთა მონაწილეობით.
❗️On June 14, EUGBC, within the framework of The Black Sea Platform initiative, organized a conference - "Black Sea Connectivity: Driver for Sustainability, Resilience and Economic Security" - in Batumi. The event was supported by USAID's Economic Governance Program.
The discussions focused on the flagship initiatives of the EU EIP, in particular, the electricity and fiber optic submarine cable project and the improvement of transport connections across the Black Sea.
In the opening part of the conference, the regional heads of the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as the representatives of the EU-Georgia Business Council and the USAID Economic Governance Program addressed the delegates and spoke about the current projects and future plans. As part of the event, a B2B forum was also held with the participation of representatives of transport and logistic companies.
