“Cherkeza’s Zedashe” has something for everyone: wine, tastes, history, culture, knowledge, lush landscapes for relaxing and unwinding. The family-owned wine farm “Cherkeza’s Zedashe” offers wine tasting space to its visitors. Located in the village of Nukriani, Sighnaghi region, Georgia, it is situated at the base of the Tsivgombori mountain on 860 meters from the sea level. Instead of the wine cellar we offer Zedashe setting. Zedashe is a general name in Georgian countryside for the family worshiping places. It is a small chapel-like building decorated with wine jars (Qvevri) and orthodox icons. Zedashe is also a name for the special wine used in Christian liturgy. Zedashe as an artifact is especially impressive for visitors - it has the same function and appears in active use nowadays as it was thousands of years before. It is overlooking the vineyard and river Alazani mesmerizing valley. That is the one more exclusive feature about Cherkeza’s Zedashe – you will rarely see the tasting locations near vineyard in other similar settings. In wine tasting space guests can enjoy guided tasting of estate’s premium biodynamic red wine from Saperavi grapes, two different types of traditional white wine from Rktsiteli variety and local vodka called Chacha. We offer red biodynamic wine from local vineyard. All drinks are carefully paired with local cheese, nuts and seasonal tastes. Prices:

Tasting: 40 GEL per person for 3 types of wine+chacha. Dinner: ethnographic dishes based on local products - 105 GEL [for 1-4 people] and 95 GEL [for 5 and more people].
