After several months of work CARLO ERBA Reagents is finalizing its plan to modify the cardboard boxes for the 2.5l glass bottles.
The goal of this modification is to improve our ecological footprint and the ergonomics of our solutions for the convenience of our customers and our staff.
In practice what are the changes?
change only of the internal base of the cardboard used as a wedge for the 2.5 L bottles : going from a cardboard base in 4 parts to a "shell" in 100% cellulose
the cellulose used comes from clean corrugated waste
the assembly of the boxes is carried out by the accredited AGEFIPH centers (fund management association for the professional integration of disabled people)
the supply flow is more flexible
Easier bottle handling for both customers and employees
The use of this new cardboard for production of 2.5 L glass bottles is expected starting on the second half of July 2018. It is therefore possible that during a period of transition you receive products packaged in boxes with cardboard locks and others with wedges 100% cellulose.
