The GIOD offers various training programs and resources and gives the country’s top executives an opportunity to advance their qualifications and skills. It brings together the country’s top and most influential business minds, thus creating Georgia’s most exclusive professional network. In addition, the organization acts as a powerful force in bringing positive improvements in the way companies are run and the overall business environment of the country. GIOD closely cooperates with international organizations such as International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Global Corporate Governance Forum (GCGF). The curriculum incorporates toolkits, materials and methodology used by the IFC and GCGF. Moreover, as a part of its activities Institute also supports newly graduates willing to advance their knowledge in internationally recognized standards of management. As an independent and autonomous institute, it is open to working with other institutions in the pursuit of systemic corporate governance reforms in Georgia.
