🇬🇪🤝🇰🇬 EBA Georgia welcomed a delegation of the International Business Council (IBC) of the Kyrgyz Republic to Tbilisi, as part of the regional project “Europe and Eurasia Regional: Advancing Economic Freedom and Resilience,” implemented in partnership with the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE).

EBA Georgia President John Braeckeveldt presented the Association’s work and strategic priorities, highlighting business advocacy, public-private dialogue, member engagement, and private sector development.

💡 The meeting focused on exchanging experience and exploring cooperation in advocacy, institutional sustainability, member services, and trade and investment facilitation.

🌐 Representing businesses across more than 25 sectors, IBC connects the private sector with government and international partners in the Kyrgyz Republic, combining policy advocacy with B2B cooperation and business development.

🌐 EBA Georgia’s Digital Committee participated in a regional knowledge exchange and partnership-building initiative supported by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), creating an opportunity to connect with representatives of the Armenian business community.

The initiative was organized within the framework of CIPE’s Europe and Eurasia Regional: Advancing Economic Freedom and Resilience Supplement Program, which supports business associations and civil society organizations in strengthening their institutional capacity, advocacy efforts, and role in private sector development.

💡 The exchange provided EBA Georgia members with a valuable platform to share experiences, discuss digitalisation challenges facing SMEs and technology companies, explore areas of common interest, and identify opportunities for business matchmaking and future cross-border partnerships.

The initiative contributed to strengthening regional business connections, encouraging knowledge sharing, and creating new opportunities for private sector cooperation between Georgia and Armenia.
