Did you know that battery fires have reached an all-time high? 🔥

Batteries have caused more than 1,200 fires in bin lorries and at waste sites in the past year, up 71% from 700 in 2022!

Consumers are unaware of how to dispose if batteries properly and throw them in the bin, causing fires

Consumers should take batteries to their local household recycling centres 🔋

Alternatively, Galaxy provides WEEE-lie bins to businesses and offices for batteries and electrical items that can be collected for recycling when bins are full

For advice on the recycling of batteries and electrical items, or for more information on our WEEE-lie bins, visit our website 👉 www.galaxyci.com/weee
