🏏 Guernsey Cricket can confirm that the schedule for the forthcoming Women’s Continental Cricket Cup in Romania has been extended following confirmation of the final tournament line-up.

The tournament, which will be held at the Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground near Bucharest, will now run from 26–30 August 2026 and feature eight international teams from across Europe:

🇷🇴 Romania
🇹🇷 Turkey
🇳🇴 Norway
🇨🇿 Czech Republic
🇬🇬 Guernsey
🇲🇹 Malta
🇬🇷 Greece
🇮🇲 Isle of Man

Guernsey has been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Romania, Turkey and the Czech Republic.

The competition will begin with a round robin group stage before progressing to the semi-finals and final.

The expanded tournament provides another valuable opportunity for Guernsey’s Senior Women to gain international experience, test themselves against a wide range of emerging European nations and continue building on the progress being made within the women’s game locally.

Further details, including fixtures and squad information, will be announced in due course.

Aspida Marathon Relay 2026 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We’ve set up a fundraising page to support our 2026 Marathon relay team, as our Compliance Consultant Bee once again takes part in this fantastic local event.

This year marks our third year sponsoring the relay team, this year we are raising money for Headway Guernsey & Youth Commission for Guernsey and Alderney and we’re proud to be involved again.

Every donation, no matter the size, is truly appreciated and helps make a difference.

The marathon takes place this Sunday, starting at 9:00am, and supporters are very welcome to come along and cheer the team on 📣🎉
