Jon Le Conte and Simon Hughes decided to start Sun Yachts Ltd while sailing back across the Atlantic together in 2014 on board an Oyster 885 that Simon was Captain on. Jon has been working in the marine business as a boat dealer and broker for more than 25 years and Simon spent about the same number of years captaining sailing yachts all round the World.
As a result, their combined experience is second to none in Guernsey, as they know the local market and the international boating scene intimately. Simon still does some deliveries of yachts and motorboats as well as selling RIBs and running the RIB Share Scheme that they started in 2015.
