The Russia-Ukriane war had entered into the 22nd day with another dimension where it has the tenacity to explode if absolute care is not taken globally.
International stability and peace is gradually 'loosening grounds" if leaders of the global community do not act diplomatically. The perceived use of deadly war accutruments by Russia can erupt retaliation from the West and other areas. When it happens therfore, global peace and stability suffers .
I write this piece to caution leaders of Africa and for that matter developing countries to be circumspect in making pronouncements or statements that may incur the wrath of the antagonist in this conflict and perhaps create a problem for such countries. A 'word to a wise is enough ' .

TEARS OF A STUDENT OF INTERNATIONAL POLITICS AND DEFENCE:

The war between Russia and Ukraine has a trajectory of issues concerning the re-visit of ideological and partition of the world into blocs.
The "political usurpation" of a soveroegn state by another country is totally unacceptable in contemporary times. After the Wesphalian era where states were evolved into sovereignty and maintained it as such , there is no justification for a state to attack another soveriegn state on mere suspicion and fear. The State of Russia has taken global security and stability to ransom and I believe strongly that the UN MUST and SHOULD use her whip where applicable. Russia during the post- cold war must see herself as an "ordinary member of the international community BUT not one of the so ' called 'super powers' it used to be. Therefore, it has no locus to avert to itself the power to attack a Soveriegn State in that manner. The world body has appropriate adjudication and conflict resolution interventions that must be sought for in resolving matters of such nature. Russia should have used these interventions in resolving whatever they find inappropriate.
My candid advice to the leaders of Africa and for that matter the rest of the world, is to be tactful and observe international security protocols when making statements on the on-gping conflict. When care and Diplomacy is not observed, it can transform into another global war. The world needs PEACE, STABILITY and SUSTAINABLE development which should be anchored on equality and soverignty! !!!!.

HUMAN SECURITY IMPLICATIONS ON LGBTQ: A SECURITY THREAT IN OUR SOCIETY

The emerging paradigm of human security implications of homos*xuality has been a great concern to Ghanaians in recent times. It is very germane to reflect on the psycho - social issue in terms of morality and security through the lens of human security.
In addressing this issue on one hand, human security is similar to human rights component but on the other hand, human security has far - reaching practical implications from the perspective of peace, moral stability and national security. Human security focuses on human crisis that need practical intervention by both government and individuals without which it creates obstacles to human development in a Soveriegn State. The erotic attraction towards someone of the same s*x and the gross violation of our cherished cultural and moral values as Ghanaians must be treated as 'unGhanaian and unAfrican". Our society frowns on this aspect of our so-called freedom. Even though this trend of affairs might have resurrected in our boarding school system and gradually eroding our society does not make it absolute right for individuals and groups to disrespect our Ghanaian values. The preservation of our n
ational security including our human security as a people must prevail against the imposition of foreign cultures and values which are alien to our identity!

The spontaneous attacks and unacceptability of the three main religions in the country and all well-meaning Ghanaians against the activities of these groups must be a welcome call to maintain our identity as Ghanaians. Though we must recognize the critical issues that LGBTQ face as they find themselves in this challenging lives, it equally behoves on us as a people to protect our national security vis-a-vis our human security.
