1. At the 7th edition of the Annual KAS Ghana Scholars Conference in Cape Coast, I sat in a room filled with brilliant minds. Each of us carrying our own journey, our own struggles, our own silent victories. I didnโt walk in expecting anything; I simply showed up, as I always try to, ready to learn, ready to serve.
2. So when my name was called as one of the five scholars to receive a of , I felt a breeze of gratitude blow over me. Not because of the award itself, but because it symbolized my mantra that nothing will go wrong, I only need to keep going trusting God.
3. And just when I thought the day couldnโt get any richer, I was elected as Organizer for the Scholars & Alumni Network. This presents me with a new opportunity to lead the design of meaningful programs and work alongside people who believe in the power of service and leadership.
4. After the conference, we hiked through Kakum National Park and stepped onto the canopy walk together - suspended in the air, trusting each step, cheering one another on. In that moment, I realized: this is what growth feels like. A little scary, a little exciting, but always worth it.
5. Every milestone from the past weekend whispered the same message:
Wherever you find yourself, contribute, even in the smallest way.
Keep showing up. Your results will meet you on the journey.
Special thanks to our Country Representative Anna Lena Sabroso-Wasserfall , Dr. Joseph Darmoe, Program Director and our Programs Managers: and Lawrencia Akosua Pomaa.
