Let's talk about the amazing story of a business that requires so little of anything you could run while sitting in front of your boss during a conference meeting.
For a long time,
There have been arguments between employed and self-employed about the possibilities of having a side business while still being gainfully employed
One party thinks it's difficult to have a job and still be able to focus on a side business without interrupting the daily activity of 9-5 jobs
While the other party think having one's business is the only route to go in life because it comes with the freedom of expression and an escape from the burden of a wicked boss
While the two views may be correct
There is a possibility of a third view.
Over and over, I have found out that as long as goals and objective is one, then any perspective is correct, and there can be diverse entry point even when there is a common destination
Both parties have a common goal of Having a financially free life
So the argument of whether one is right or wrong is not necessary here.
Now here is the Third Perspective.
Before I go into this, here is a caveat -
The third perspective is not right or wrong, it is just another view that is aimed towards a single objective - FINANCIAL FREEDOM.
It is the fact that a "Gainfully employed person can build a successful online business and earn millions of naira from it monthly without having to quit their job"
Yes as long as they apply to a success principle then they are unstoppable.
So to make a sense of this
Let's take a look at the 3 types of people that we have here
-- One is gainfully employed and earn about N500k monthly
-- The second is gainfully employed, running a side business online, and earning N1.5million monthly
-- And the third is fully self-employed and earn N3.5million monthly
However, your mind may force you to think that one person is better than the other judging with their monthly income
That's not necessarily true...
But to avoid biases, let's make use of intangible or invisible factors that cannot be seen with the physical eyes.
As far as objectives are the same, then we may have to look into factors that exist between the 3person but are somehow unique to each person
Factors such as:
-- Level of confidence
-- Life expectations
-- Adaptability
-- Creativity
-- Hunger for success/comfort/luxury
-- And some others that I may not be able to mention at the time of this writing.
These factors are crucial and unique to every one of these parties and it's a determining factor as to how far each one of them will go to achieve their financial freedom.
Now that I've been able to establish the reality that surrounds having financial freedom irrespective of what you currently do, you will agree with me that wherever you fit in, you can achieve your financial goals
Only that the reward may be higher to some due to factors that are found in one set of people but are not found in others.
Let's take for example
An Affiliate marketer who sits behind his computer/smartphone may be prone to take more risk than an Accountant who comes home at 6pm, needed some rest, and prepare for the next day.
As simple as that...
Income is relative to risk, the higher risk you can accommodate the higher your earning capacity is likely to be...
So let us look at the type of business anyone can do irrespective of whether they have a job, are self-employed, or are willing to combine the both of them.
When I quit my job in august 2020 to pursue a more adventurous job
I lost everything I own and had to start all over again in a city I knew nobody
That was when I decided to rinse and upgrade my skills to pursue either Affiliate marketing, E-commerce, or Copywriting career
I eventually ended up starting with Affiliate marketing, which is a more flexible option that permits me to add on extra jobs at a convenient time.
All I just had to do is polish my skills, Focus, and be ready to implement.
In conclusion,
I wrote this to let you become more conscious of a world of possibilities
Where no one has to restrict themselves to one singular job or activity. Humans are far more flexible than that.
If you can improve your confidence, recondition for adaptability, become more hungry for success, and tap into your creativity
Then it is just a matter of time before you surpass that 8figure you've always dreamt of.
