Phase III of Eduwatch's SERVE project
Currently collaborating with key data experts from Ghana's Ministry of Education (lead consultants) to develop a framework for harmonising teenage pregnancy data between the ministries of health and education.
Eduwatch has found a huge gap in teenage pregnancy data between the two ministries. While EMIS data reports a figure of around 5000, health ministry reports 110,000. The lack of uniform and comprehensive data undermines planning and resourcing of interventions aimed at tackling teenage pregnancy.
