The Accra Open Championship featured U18, U20, and senior athletes from schools, universities, clubs, and security services across Ghana in an exciting day of track and field competition at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

Athletes delivered impressive performances across events such as the 100m, 400m, 1500m, and various track and field events, showcasing both emerging talents and experienced competitors.

The event also served as a key preparatory platform ahead of the African Championships, setting the pace for what’s to come in May

Joseph Paul Amoah is a Ghanaian athlete who competes in sprinting events. He is one of the top male athletes in Ghana and represents the country in international competitions.
