Every year on September 21, the world observes World Alzheimer’s Day as a global health awareness day to increase public understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia.

Alzheimer’s disease, the most prevalent type of dementia, gradually weakens memory, thinking, and behavior, impacting even the capacity to perform routine, everyday tasks.

World Alzheimer’s Day emphasizes the importance of early diagnosis, access to care, and continued research while also encouraging compassion and support for those living with dementia and their families.
