Hello friends, family, neighbors, and loved ones 😊. God evening, and may God's peace that surpasses all understanding be with you all 🙏🏼.
In a few minutes, I'll be celebrating a milestone birthday - the big 4-0 🎉. A year ago, I started planning a big celebration, and it seemed like the stars aligned for a memorable weekend. But, as we know, God's plans are always best 😊.
I've been overwhelmed with goodwill messages and surprises since Monday 😢. While I'm grateful for your love, I've been thinking a lot about my dear friend and sister, Lena, who will be laid to rest this weekend. My heart goes out to her, and I can't imagine celebrating while she's being remembered.
So, I'd like to humbly request that we dedicate this weekend to Lena's memory 🙏🏼. When you pray, please remember me and thank God for another year of life. Let's refrain from posting pictures and messages on social media. Let's pretend it's just another weekend and focus on honoring Lena.
We'll celebrate my birthday another time, with God's glory in mind 🎉. This weekend, let's honor Lena's memory.
