SPECIAL HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO OUR MOTHERS
YORI -Youth Rise International joins the global community to celebrate all the incredible mothers - from our women serving on our BOARD, MANAGEMENT TEAM, STAFF, VOLUNTEERS to all project BENEFICIARIES.
On this special day, 's Executive Director want to appreciate you for your diverse contribution to our work and sustenance! Your diverse inputs and efforts have made a big difference. We love you DEEPLY and CELEBRATE you from a heart of gratitude.
Building strong families is at the heart of our work. We strongly believe that strong, Godly and lovely families will address most the social issues confronting society today and the reverse is true. So ok this special day, we have this special message to all mothers:
1. Take motherhood seriously than before. In our generation, if mother's fail in their parenting role, we shall have serious issues on our hand as family and nation. Keep on doing the good work you are doing and never give up! Your hard work will pay off eventually.
2. Prioritise your family life over everything else except GOD. There is nothing more important and valuable than your family ( you, your husband and children). A day will come you could lose everything or everything you might have acquired will be meaningless without your family by your side. Aside GOD, your family life should come first! Therefore, in every decision you take think about your family.
3. Don't draw your Children into issues and fights you have with their father. You and the father are two adult who met and chose to join yourself to build a family. Whatever that happens later should be between two of you.
Please don't allow such issues - the pain, the bitterness and resentment- to make you poison your Children and make them see men or father's as evil. If you do, what you don't know is that you are badly raising children who will end up having bad relationships or failed marriage. This is based on research evidence that Children who come from broken families end up having broken families too or struggle in their family life.
Decide to break this cruel cycle by ensuring that whether the relationship or marriage worked out or not, both of you will work together to take very good care of your children and give them all the love they need in order for them to grow up to become the great children you desire for them!
May this Mother's Day becomes the best day of your life. We wish you God's blessings and goodness on you all!
