As part of Coliba’s participation in the PROTEGO - Prevention of Marine Litter in the Gulf of Guinea of Marine Litter in the Gulf of Guinea project, we recently held our second stakeholder engagement workshop focused on addressing marine litter along the coastal stretch between Aflao and Tema.

The session provided a valuable platform to further refine our concept and strengthen our innovative approaches to tackling marine litter in the region, drawing on insights from key stakeholders.

Happy new month of April. We are excited to announce that as part of our plans to further digitize our collection centers and incentive process, we have ensured that all our current 13 collection centers across Ghana are fully automated and digitized across the value chain.

These centers are not jsut solar powered but we have also trained all 13 women center managers on how to use our software to record and pay incentives. This will further ensure efficiency in our goal of ensuring a better circular economy model for Ghana. A big thanks to rePurpose Global for supporting and making this project possible.
