The exhibitions will be climaxed with a Grand Farmersโ€™ Durbar, National Farmers Day Awards, and a showcase of advancements in Ghanaโ€™s agrifood systems through culture and agri-innovations.

Madam Bawa Damata, a farmer living with a physical disability from Nomnayili in the North East Gonja District of the Savannah Region, has emerged as the Overall Winner of the 8th WOFAGRIC & Gold in the Soil Awards.

Growing maize and rice while raising poultry and goats on her 5-acre farm, Bawa has demonstrated that determination, resilience and hard work can overcome every obstacle. Her contribution to food security and community development makes her a true champion of Ghanaian agriculture.
