AIESEC in Central University joined the list of Local Committees in Ghana in 1999 and has since grown in both membership and impact through the help of our partners, making us a leading Local Committee in Ghana. Since 1948, AIESEC has been a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. AIESEC does not disc
riminate on the basis of race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin. Now present in over 1700 universities in 111countries and territories, AIESEC, the largest global student-run organisation is a platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential to make positive impact on society. We develop our members through an innovative and integrated approach comprised of leadership opportunities, international internship and exchange programme, and a virtual learning platform, where members have access to all forms of learning materials as well as share ideas concerning our three core interest areas (leadership, world issues, and management.) AIESEC in Central University presently has 50 dynamic and high potential individuals out of which 19 have taken up leadership roles. Members and leaders alike constantly strive to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
