In preparation for the 2026 celebration of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as a "Pillar of Peace," we recall the powerful endorsement from President John Dramani Mahama. Upon receiving the , President Mahama highlighted two critical interventions:

- As a Peacemaker: He praised Otumfuo's pivotal role in mediating a lasting resolution to the protracted Dagbon chieftaincy conflict in northern Ghana.

- As an Economic Stabilizer: He revealed the King's instrumental role in helping his government secure a crucial IMF Extended Credit Facility in 2016. Of this economic intervention, President Mahama stated, “That was the programme which turned the economy around, because in 2016, almost for the first time in our history, we did zero central bank financing of the budget.”
