THE OHENEWAA ADVOCACY BRAND
Lawyer Mary Ohenewaa Afful wishes to apologise to everyone who felt offended by her recent outbursts. We are deeply sorry and we pray that such occurrences will not happen in future.
It will interest you to know that the Ohenewaa Advocacy brand is built on STRUGGLES....STRUGGLES from the personal experiences, challenges and setbacks of Mary Ohenewaa herself. She however managed to turn her ALL pains/ wounds/ sufferings into PURPOSE and into this "Ohenewaa Advocacy Brand". Ohenewaa Advocacy is her "Heart" as she affectionately describes it. She has always funded the entire Advocacy Programme from its inception herself right after her legal education in April 2010 when she was called to the Bar. All her Advocacy projects even published dates as far back as June 2010. And she made sure that every Advocacy event is published online and when you Google her name, most of her major events can be found online.
Lawyer Ohenewaa has never sort to make any financial benefits from this Advocacy Project but has rather invested not only her legal fees from time to time, but also her entire life by working both day and night as she uses her own personal experiences to help people in similar situations on a societal level by ensuring that people speak up against injustices that are being meted out to them. She has spent all her life savings building this formidable brand from scratch and from her passion to help fight for the "ORDINARY PEOPLE" and the "SUFFERING MASSES".
The organisation runs as and when she personally has the financial resources to do same. And at no point has she sort corporate sponsorship except the very first and last one for her Advocacy Programme in Oct. 2021 which she ended up being used in all the various ways that she has consistently Advocated against.
She has tried so hard to separate herself from her recent pain by even reading more on the Psychology of Abuse and writing a book out of it even in her pains. After releasing the said book, and getting all the positive feedbacks about the book, her psychological pain kept on deepening. She needed to get it out of her soul...with this her recent outburst....the pain she never anticipated.... a very deep pain she says... the kind of pain that kept her on her sick bed.... She says "after writing this my new book, titled "The Laws and Psychology of Abuse", there was nothing else to do...nothing else to keep me alive...I wake up with an empty mind filled with the pain of an abuser who even mocks me for abusing me...And I have come to the realization that I have just experienced an encounter with a PSYCHOPATH. ..I talk about all these in my new book... THE PERSONALITY DISORDERS OF ABUSERS .... and this pain is so real.... And I pray I don't end up going into research to write a new book on "DEALING WITH THE PSYCHOLOGICAL PAIN. ..THE DAMAGE IS ALWAYS PERMANENT" I am hoping to end writing as I already have more writings unpublished. I wish my book on "ADR AND CONFLICT MANAGEMENT" can be published when I get resources and make it available for educational purposes only for people in the Academic Fields. It deals with all the kinds of conflicts, the management of same and resolving all these kinds of conflicts in the home, companies, landlords and tenants etc. I believe that all my writings for meant to solve problems affecting society. The reason why I don't sell any of my books... she says.
We have worked with NO MONEY and we have still SURVIVED. Lawyer Mary Ohenewaa has always said that money should never be a barrier for her in persuing her dreams. And we don't intend to persue any legal action whatsoever to chase any money we may think any company owes or is owing us having led us to work for them on the false belief that we will be paid together with its issues of sexual abuse, harassment and demands. THE PERSON SHOULD KEEP THE MONEY. WE DON'T NEED IT. Whatever we have done is what we needed to do... at least to EXPOSE AN ABUSER and his ABUSE OF OFFICE. Everyone is mandated to work in their own state of professionalism. If parties have met on a different level unrelated to sponsorship, the story would have been different.
Lawyer Ohenewaa have said that even if she had offered herself for a sexual ordeal, what are the company's ethics.... that people who come to do business with them should be used to work for them for free and be a prawn for their own sexual gratification? This is certainly AN UNACCEPTABLE ACT. That notwithstanding, as married men, please when you go out seeking sexual pleasure, do not bring shame to your wife and family members. This discussion will further be expanded in Lawyer Ohenewaa's subsequent Advocacy Programmes.
We thank you all. Those who prayed for us, those who called and begged us to cease fire including "strangers" we never imagined as well as those who offered psychotherapy for Lawyer Ohenewaa, we are extremely grateful for your time and concern.
Once again we want to state categorically that WE HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY MONEY FROM ANYONE IN OUR QUEST NOT TO PERSUE ANY FURTHER ACTION. Neither do we intend to receive same. WE DON'T NEED THEIR MONEY.
God Bless Ghana.... if people like Lawyer Ohenewaa at the level that she finds herself can be brutally abused and shamed. ...then what about the ordinary women who are yet to know their rights... You can't fight for your rights when you don't even know it has been violated.
