AND THEN… THE CURTAIN FELL
After months of dreaming, writing, rewriting, rehearsing, worrying, sacrificing, praying, and believing, *Gayina’s Pound of Flesh* has finally come to an end.
What a journey.
To our incredible cast and crew, thank you for your talent, patience, sacrifice, late nights, early mornings, sweat, frustrations, laughter, and for giving this production a piece of yourselves.
To everyone behind the scenes, our partners, sponsors, media friends, supporters, families, and friends: thank you for holding us up and believing in this story.
To every journalist, presenter, influencer, photographer, designer, technician, usher, ticketing team, marketer, and communicator who helped spread the word, we appreciate you.
And to everyone who bought a ticket, showed up, laughed, gasped, questioned, applauded, shared a post, or recommended the play: thank you.
You did more than watch a play. You gave Ghanaian storytelling a place in your weekend and gave us the greatest gift an artist can receive; your time.
Some productions you make. Others make you. *Gayina’s Pound of Flesh* will forever be one of those for me.
From the bottom of my heart, akpenami!
Thank you for believing, showing up, giving, and making this more than just another play.
The curtain may have fallen, but the memory lives on.
If God blesses us with an available date at the National Theatre, Efo Sylvanus Kossivi Dzakpasu Gayina will return in December!
Till then…
God bless.
Twa!
