Never Quits

Abraham Lincoln Didn't Quit

Probably the greatest example of persistence is Abraham Lincoln. If you want to learn about somebody who didn't quit, look no further.
Born into poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eight elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown.
He could have quit many times - but he didn't and because he didn't quit, he became one of the greatest presidents in the history of our country.
Lincoln was a champion and he never gave up. Here is a sketch of Lincoln's road to the White House:
1816 His family was forced out of their home. He had to work to support them.
1818 His mother died.
1831 Failed in business.
1832 Ran for state legislature - lost.
l832 Also lost his job - wanted to go to law school but couldn't get in.
1833 Borrowed some money from a friend to begin a business and by the end of the year he was bankrupt. He spent the next 17 years of his life paying off this debt.
1834 Ran for state legislature again - won.
1835 Was engaged to be married, sweetheart died and his heart was broken.
1836 Had a total nervous breakdown and was in bed for six months.
1838 Sought to become speaker of the state legislature - defeated.
1840 Sought to become elector - defeated.
1843 Ran for Congress - lost.
1846 Ran for Congress again - this time he won - went to Washington and did a good job.
1848 Ran for re-election to Congress - lost.
1849 Sought the job of land officer in his home state - rejected.
1854 Ran for Senate of the United States - lost.
1856 Sought the Vice-Presidential nomination at his party's national convention - get less than 100 votes.
1858 Ran for U.S. Senate again - again he lost.
1860 Elected president of the United States.

This is why i said, a loss is not a failure; so arise and try again because you could loose in the Premier League and yet win the Champions League...

Success is moving from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm... Winston Churchill.

Hello friends,
Longtime!

20/09/2016

If leaders everywhere n in every field would lead by example, the world would be a better place because:

Kindness in the father, would produce filial piety in the son!
Gentility n loyalty in the eldest brother would inspire humility n respect in the younger brother!
Righteous n loving behaviour in the husband, obedience in the wife!
Humane consideration in elders, deference in juniors!
Benevolence in rulers, loyalty in ministers n subjects!
...a Chinese philosophy.

Good day friends!
Longtime!!!

History and scriptures have shown us over time, that good can come out of evil; praise can come out of pains; fame can come out of shame; saint can come out of sinner; light can come out of darkness; grace can come out of disgrace; prosperity can come out of poverty; a message can come out of a mess; success can come out from failures; greatness can come out from the gutters; acceptance can come out of rejection; presidents can come out from the prison!
As a good student of life and a good observer of events, it always baffles me how God brings light out of darkness, and the unexpected out of the contrary!
Anything is possible in this world! So, in whatever situation u find yourself, don't cry and don't despair. Only believe, all things are possible to the believer! Your case will not be different! It is just a matter of time! You will be celebrated!

How are u guys?!
Longtime!!

THE PARABLE OF THE RICH FOOL!

"And he said unto them, take heed,n beware of covetousness(greed, hoarding, selfish ambition, the love of money n the love of vast wealth of material things for personal enjoyment):for a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.''Luke 12:13-21...

And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: and he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do,because I have NO ROOM where to bestow my fruits?
And he said, this will I do: I will pull down my barns and BUILD GREATER; and there will i will bestow all my fruits and my goods.
And I will say to MY SOUL,soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years;take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
But God said unto him,THOU FOOL,this night thy soul shall be required of you: then whose shall those things be,which thou has laid up? So is he that lays up treasure for HIMSELF,and is not rich toward God.

Here is a man who had an ambition n a strong drive for success in life. Who was an expert in business n money growing. He was a great, respectable n intelligent man in his day,but lacked the understanding of THE TRUE PURPOSE OF WEALTH!He had everything the heart could desire because the Bible said, he was already a successful man-he had grown so much that there was NO ROOM left for his vast wealth to occupy.
But he had a problem and that was, HOARDING...THE ME,MYSELF n I mentality...GREED,SELFISH AMBITION, THE PURSUIT OF PERSONAL GLORY,THE LOVE OF MONEY n WEALTH. There is nothing wrong in aspiring for wealth-great wealth n success in life but if your motive is FOR SELF be guaranteed that you will end up like him. Your success n greatness in life is not measured by your vast estate, fame, popularity, gigantic status, great material possessions, academic distinction or the likes, but by THE IMPACT YOU MADE IN PEOPLE'S LIVES n BY HOW YOU TREAT OTHERS....remember your dad, mum, siblings, strangers, the poor, the widows, needy n suffering people are all waiting for us...dont eat alone...let us be wise! Matt 25:31-46, Prov 11:24-26,28:27. Peace n love to all!

"The blessing of LONGEVITY and WELLNESS!"
Recently God whispered this words into my ear...

He also said,'one could have these things n loose them in a short while...

But if you want a good ,right, sweet, satisfactory, fulfilling, comfortable,a blessed n LONG-LASTING marriage, life, ministry, success, fame n riches LEARN TO HONOUR, LOVE N CHERISH YOUR PARENTS BECAUSE THE BLESSING N POWER FOR WELLNESS N LONGEVITY IN YOUR LIFE,MARRIAGE,BUSINESS N SUCCESS "I PLACED IN THEIR MOUTHS!"
Are you married, rich, successful, etc n yet it looks as if its not well with your success n your life?plsss I beg you, learn to take care of, love, cherish, honour n bless your parents that they may release this power n blessing of WELLNESS N LONGEVITY into every area of your life!see, without your parents blessing you n your achievements will never be COMPLETE N SATISFACTORY!EPG 6:1-3.

Continuation...
The 7 bad traits of a Nigerian, though not in all...as I said before, bad eggs are everywhere. These are the 7 most common error in an average Nigerian:

1. The average Nigerian turns his glory to shame: Nigeria is arguably the giant of africa in terms of population, economy, large market base, in personal achievement of its people, great business minds, entertainment power house, etc. But allover the world;the name Nigeria is synonymous to FRAUD n CRIME...what a shame!
2. The average Nigerian sometimes can be over confident.
3. The average Nigerian is loud and mildly aggressive in nature.
4. The average Nigerian has an excessive hunger for success and so sometimes channels it into the wrong things.
5. The average Nigerian is not so law abiding.
6. The average Nigerian has the 'chop I chop' mentality. This is more evident in those that are saddle with the right to administer the law-the government. They often times close their eyes from crime if they could only have their share.

7 bad attributes of Nigerians and 7 bad traits of Ghanaians.
Bad traits and characters are every where and in every one. The disadvantage of having one is that it reduces and limits us. It gives us a certain kind of image and aura before the international communities, and determines our produce and competitive advantage worldwide...As the Bible rightly said,'righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people!' My reasons for exposing these negative traits in us,is so that we can recognise and remove them from us so that we could become the great nations that God ordained us to be.This is not to beef or disrespect the Nigerians or the Ghanaians-i myself,am a part of both. Am just trying to say,'Ghana/Naija let's work on our selves!'

7 most apparent bad traits of the average Ghanaian-though not in all:

1.The average Ghanaian is Envious of his neighbour's success and glory and so hardly celebrate him...too bad!
2. The average Ghanaian dishonors, disrespect and treat as nothing great and successful personalities...they seem to be bordered by their neighbours success and tries to defame him or pull him down...too bad!they don't easily celebrate the glorious and outstanding.
3. The average Ghanaian is afraid of risks
4. The average Ghanaian is a critic, a whisperer, a gossip, opinionated and always have something to say....there are more gossip and whispering in Ghana than any other places I know.
5. The average Ghanaian seems to have a deep hatred and dislike for Nigerians, whereas the Nigerians sees them as dear brothers...so unfortunate!
6. The are are not big time givers.
7. Though they are a people full of warmth, mildness, intelligence, goodness and every good virtue, they seem to sit on it and not allow it to come out and shine!
