RESIGNATION

The act of informing your employer (verbal & written) that you are leaving your job or office.

By Ghana Labor Law, every employee is at liberty to resign at any time during a contract of employment provided a notice period is provided to the employer.

In some instances, employees may resign with immediate effect e.g. Medical reasons, a new job offer or a very hostile working environment which can no longer be tolerated by the employee.

When a resignation letter is presented to an employer, he or she is required by Law to prepare all payments outstanding to the employee; these include salary for days worked, pay for any outstanding leave owed, every allowance and SSNIT payments on behalf of the employee must be up to date.

The notice period for resignation is generally between 2 weeks to One month, depending on your length of service with the organization. If your employer refuses to accept your notice period but rather insists that you vacate the position immediately, then he or she is required to pay your salary for the notice period which you intended to work before you resign.

* To deliver Zonal Key Performance Indicators (Revenue, Reloads, Distribution, Sales) and grow market share.

~ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Responsible for the growth of revenue in the area. To this end, the Manager is responsible for implementing sales strategy leading to the conversion of airtime into reloads in the region.

* Responsible for acquisitions (Mobile, Telecel Cash, Fixed Fiber Broadband, SME) and acquisition revenues from the Region.
The Manager is to ensure that subscriber growth targets for the region are met by working with freelancers and retailers.

* Responsible for identifying and developing the various channels for acquisitions.
The Zonal Sales Manager is responsible for the achievement of all Telecel Cash distribution KPIs (float & liquidity management, merchant and active agents).

* Deliver training on product knowledge to agents prior to launch and then on a need-to basis thereafter.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED & EXPERIENCE
