The CCTV Operators Association of Ghana (COAG) is a voluntary business association of members, made up of the Private and Government CCTV Operators t leading umbrella voice in the Country. COAG seek to be a leading business with the highest standards, which consistently delivers value and benefits to its member and clients while respecting the community within which we operate.
Advocating policies that advance the growth and development of all CCTV Operator/Technicians with its core mandates outline below:
Strengthening national industry associations through the sharing of knowledge, experience and critical information.
Education amongst ourselves to promote growth and improvement.
Providing members with a vast network of contacts, especially in Ghana.
Hosting the industry and technology exhibition to promote members’ goods.
· When registered, we will like to set standards for ourselves with particular references to salaries, job conditions etc.
· By standing resolute behind members in solidarity with member in times of trouble and job irregularities.
· To blend both local and Foreign CCTV operators/camera technician working in Ghana with the objective of promoting environmental, cultural and geographical exchanges.
MISSION
To effectively and efficiently manage CCTV Operators Association of Ghana (COAG) and to protect and promote the interests of Operator/Technicians in Education, training and monitoring other measures considered to be favourable for the advancement of the profession.
VISION
To be a world class service organization that ensures for
CCTV Operations in Ghana is committed to ethical and responsible business practice and acts entirely in accordance with the law in all of its operating locations.
OBJECTIVES
· To seek optimum deregulation and liberalization of CCTV services and products in Ghana.
· To improve upon the quality of CCTV services through appropriate interaction and intensive training of Operators and technicians.
· To ensure payment of competitive salary rates and other remunerations and ancillary charges through effective monitoring and negotiation.
· To assist in the provision of up-to-date infrastructure to meet current developments and technological changes in the CCTV industry.
· To enhance the human capital of the Association through effective recruitment and capacity building.
· Providing quality service to member-companies, particularly Private and Government CCTV Operators in order to bring about continuous improvement in their operations.
· Challenge policies which are considered inimical to industrial growth and development.
· Support and influence legislations or other measures considered to be favourable for the advancement of industry.
· Presenting industry’s position papers on specific policies to stakeholders.
· Generate capital to organize workshops and training for our members by seeking to organize training, workshops and seminars to help our members to fully equip themselves with the latest trends.
