As part of ongoing efforts to deepen collaboration and ensure the highest standards in Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) implementation, KillPest Services was honored to host a strategic field visit by the National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP) team, led by the newly appointed Programme Manager, alongside the CEO of KillPest Services Awotwe

This joint district engagement reflects a culture of transparency, coordination, and commitment, hallmarks of Ghana’s national strategy to eliminate malaria. Together with Ghana Health Service district teams, our collective presence on the ground reaffirms that success in public health is a product of active cooperation between national leadership, private sector implementers, and frontline district staff.

From reviewing protocols to inspecting field operations and offering real-time feedback, this visit strengthened the bonds that keep the IRS program effective and accountable.

At KillPest Services, we embrace every opportunity to walk side-by-side with our partners, because defeating malaria requires all of us, united in purpose and action.

Strengthening field capacity in Dormaa Nkrankwanta. The KillPest Services team, including Emmanuel Wonnab and colleagues, led a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) refresher training with both experienced staff and new recruits. This session focused on enhancing understanding of Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) protocols — a critical component in Ghana’s malaria control strategy.

Re-training ensures precision, safety, and compliance with best practices as outlined by the Ghana Health Service and in alignment with the Government of Ghana’s broader efforts to eradicate malaria.

At KillPest Services, capacity building is an ongoing priority. This Monitoring & Evaluation / IT training, led by external facilitator Adu, reinforces our commitment to real-time, data-driven decision-making in the fight against malaria.

Through the integration of IT protocols with operational insights, our team strengthens the backbone of quality service delivery, in close collaboration with the Ghana Health Service, district health directorates, and key partners under the Ministry of Health.

Accuracy, accountability, and innovation- these are the standards we hold as we serve communities across the country.

The annual meeting offers a platform for the malaria vector control community to share the latest best practices and research relevant to current and future malaria vector control operations. The activities of the dedicated Work Streams, which focus on their work plans, are complemented by plenary sessions and panel discussions. During the meeting, the Work Stream Co-Leaders and the Co-Chairs of the Working Group ratify the main projects, and present the next steps and way forward. The work plan activities are funded by Partners, and coordinated by the Work Stream Co-Leads and the Co-Chairs of the Working Group.
