My team surprised me for my birthday and I am still not okay. 😭

Let me just say it:
I LOVE my people. is hard. It just is. But when your team is family, when they carry the vision with you every single day, you’re never building alone. And this birthday, they showed me just how closely they’ve been paying attention.

First, wagashi. My favourite cheese on this planet. Then eggs. A LOT of eggs. Because they know I can single-handedly keep a poultry farm in business. 🥚

But the final gift? Context.

I lived in my factory for 11 years. 1 room. Me and Skin Gourmet, roommates. Until this year, when my team lovingly (and firmly 😅) kicked me out and made me get an actual home. I didn’t go far. You can’t get rid of me that easily. 😌

And since I moved, I’ve been complaining about one thing: water bottles. I hate them.

So they got me a water dispenser. And carried it to my new house ON THEIR HEADS. 🚶🏾‍♀️💨

That’s when I lost it. Because it’s not about the gift. It’s about being heard.

Best birthday ever. Being known is the real gift. 🥹
