Yesterday, GEA met with the Management Staff of various enterprises within Ghana’s Horticulture Value Chain to introduce them to the GEA-Mondiaal FNV partnership for Responsible Business Conduct and Decent Work Project.

According to the stakeholders engaged, the most effective aspects of the project’s implementation strategy include the conduct of an industry-wide remuneration survey to ensure fair wages in the sector as well as earmarked activities towards eliminating gender pay gaps, unconscious bias and elimination of workplace violence and harassment.

From all indications, employers and enterprise owners in the sector are poised to advancing the principles of decent work and standard organizational practices👌🏾
