The West & Central Africa Mining Summit & Expo (known as "WaCA Mining") is the premier mining industry event for Western and Central regions of Africa.

The 11th West & Central Africa Mining Summit & Expo 2023 - also known as "WaCA Mining" - will be held on October 18-19 at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra in Ghana. WaCA Mining brings together mining ministries and commissions; major and junior mining operators; global and local mining products; technology and solutions providers; financiers and investors; and all the relevant stakeholders in

the West and Central African mining industry. The WaCA countries - such as Ghana, Gabon, Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Liberia, Guinea, Cote d'Ivoire and Sierra Leone - contain some of the world's largest, untapped, high-grade iron ore and gold deposits. There has been a phenomenal rush of mining interest in this region. The 12th West & Central Africa Mining Summit & Expo (WaCA Mining 2026) will take place on 6-7 October 2026 in Accra, Ghana, convening senior government officials, mining executives, investors, and solution providers from across the region and beyond.
